Track & Field

The Legions Track and Field program celebrated forty-seven years of operation in 2007. During that time over 14,000 young athletes from New Brunswick have benefited from their participation. Each year 40 of these young athletes have the opportunity to compete at the national level in our annual Dominion Track & Field meet that is held in various parts of Canada. The cost of this program in New Brunswick is over $25,000.00 per year and over $250,000.00 at the National level.

The 2008 Nationial Track and Field Championships will be held in Sherbrook, Quebec.

For More information on the Legion Youth Track & Field championship, you can visit the programs section on the Athletics New Brunswick webiste, www.anb.ca.
